Avinash Tripathi

Lyricist, Writer, Journalist Avinash Tripathi penned song “Chalki Chalki” sung by Shaan

Every refusal in love does not imply a negative response. Circumstances can sometimes put a halt to the steps of agreement. Famous TV journalist, screenwriter, and lyricist Avinash Tripathi crafted a love story around this thought, and 'Chalki Chalki Aankhon Mein Inkaar Jo Hota Hai' was born. With the mood of Christmas and New Year in mind, famous composer Abhishek Ray embellished it with western arrangements and a blue jazz style. Shaan, who has a very melodious voice, added the colours of Christmas to this song by singing it himself. During a live session with the media yesterday, lyricist Avinash Tripathi stated that writing a pure Hindustani song on this very beautiful western tune by Abhishek is more about love and emotion. It was extremely challenging. There was also an attitude in the song's tune that had to be woven into the lyrics. 'Choose any direction, the destination is up to us, choose any cloud, it will be my destination,' it was written here. Abhishek stated that no jazz song had appeared on the Indian music canvas in years, and nothing could have been better to fill that void than this. Also, this is a very different song from my favourite. Shaan also stated that the song was very different from his own genre, but he enjoyed both the lyrics and the music. The song was released on YouTube in front of the media yesterday.
