Raja Bundela, the founder director of the Khajuraho International Film Festival, and eminent actor, bestowed this honour on Avinash Tripathi.

Avinash has been producing short films for nearly two decades. Avinash has produced and directed over 700 short films and documentaries, which is a record in and of itself. Avinash has previously served on the jury and as an advisor for many national and international films, as well as writing film scripts and writing film songs. Many famous Bollywood singers have sung the song written by Avinash, including Legendary Singer Kavita Krishnamurthy, Shaan, Kavita Seth, Anvesha, Abhishek Ray, and Anupama Raag. Avinash has taught filmmaking at Amity University.

Avinash, speaking on the topic “home and cinema” at the film festival’s first media discussion, said that watching a film in a cinema house is like a collective celebration, and cinema stays with you like an experience forever. He described the future of OTT as bright, and he also discussed the subject’s expansion in OTT. OTT has shattered the star system to a large extent, and unknown faces are also becoming audience favourites with compelling stories. They travelled from all over the country! Ajay Brahmatz, Harish Pathak, Neelkanth Partkar, Prahlad Aggarwal, Pushpendra Pal Singh, Rekha Khan, Prakash Ray, and Gajend Shrotriya were among the notable film critics. This international film festival was attended by many notable individuals, including Govinda, Shabbir Kumar, Manoj Tiwari, Ranjit Kapoor, VIP, MP Ram Vilas Vedanti, and the Governor of Madhya Pradesh.
